The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) works in order to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment in strategic areas of the Brazilian economy.

The Agency performs numerous trade promotion activities aimed at promoting exports and value the Brazilian products and services internationally, such as prospective and trade missions, business meetings, support to the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, foreign buyers and influencers visits to know the Brazilian productive structure, among other business platforms which also aim to strengthen Brazil as a brand.

IBRAC’s Sectorial Project together with Apex-Brasil has a vital participation in the process of consolidation and recognition of Cachaça as a quality, genuinely Brazilian distilled in the international market.

Among the actions taken, a major highlight was the production of the branding for “Cachaça: Taste The New, Taste Brasil”, which resulted in the institutional brand for the promotion of Cachaça in the international market.

The brand was strictly created in order to deliver the true feelings that Cachaça can bring when consumed – all of the Brazilian history and cultural richness that it carries.

The agreement with Apex-Brasil was renovated at the end of 2020 and will last two years.

This new agreement provides for investments of R$3.4 million and today has the participation of 67 companies, including micro, small, medium and large enterprises.

Throughout those two years, that resource will be used on promotional actions for Cachaça in the international market, especially in priority countries of the project: Germany, United States, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Chile, Mexico, Switzerland and Belgium.
